Daniel Marcotte's academic background is exceptionally well
suited for this work. With a Master's degree in Musicology and a Certificate in Baroque,
Renaissance and Medieval music from Florida State University, his lectures combine his
wealth of knowledge with his performing spirit. Both entertaining and instructional, each
lecture is tailored to certain subjects. Every lecture includes a musical performance,
explanation and demonstration of instruments, and listening to various recordings.
